Why Fusion Mineral Paint Is My Go-To
All three are lovely paints, and there's no wrong choice. It really comes down to the look and the level of fuss you want. After years of painting furniture, mineral paint is the one I reach for again and again. The built-in topcoat means one fewer step and one fewer thing to go wrong, the finish is smooth and forgiving even for beginners, and it holds up beautifully on the pieces that get used every day. That reliability is why it's the only line I carry in my studio.
Painting with confidence, painting with joy.
That said, every project is different. If you love an authentic, old-world chippy character, milk paint is genuinely special. And if you want that soft, velvety chalky look with easy distressing, Fusion's Alchemy chalk-style paint is lovely too. Fusion makes a beautiful version of each.
